ECORIGIN SUMMIT HIGHLIGHTS
Nov. 24, 2025

On 13 and 14 November 2025, Ecorigin participated in the 4th Asia Green Packaging Innovation Summit as a Diamond Sponsor, gathering industry leaders, innovators, and regulators to explore the next wave of green packaging technologies and circular solutions.

The Summit opened under the theme “From Material Revolution to Recycling Innovation: Building a Zero-Waste Consumption Ecosystem”. Over two days, global enterprises and expert speakers convened to exchange insights on sustainability, innovative packaging, policy trends, material breakthroughs, and supply chain models. The Summit offered numerous insightful presentations, panel discussions, and networking sessions during luncheons and coffee breaks.

Highlights include:

Regulatory Outlook in SEA: Panels on evolving green packaging policies and Extended Producer Responsibility frameworks.

Next-Gen Materials: Innovations in bioplastics, compostables, and materials with improved degradability.

Circular Economy & Recycling Technologies: Case studies on closed-loop systems and advanced recycling models.

Digital Tracking & Smart Packaging: Use of IoT and data tracking to monitor material life cycles.

Collaboration & Partnerships: Sessions on cross-industry alignment and scaling sustainable supply chains.

As a sponsor, Ecorigin showcased its compostable packaging technologies and product line. Our Regional Market Director, Yeo Jing Wen, also presented on “Paving the Way to a Plastic-Free Future”, showcasing Ecorigin’s biomass-based product packaging, ESG empowerment, R&D capabilities, regulatory alignment, and practical applications. Our booth drew interest from FMCG brands exploring ESG-compliant packaging shifts, and it was truly rewarding time interacting with many like-minded businesses.

Key takeaways & trends

Regulations rising fast: Many countries are tightening rules around single-use plastics, making compostable alternatives more relevant.

Lifecycle metrics matter: Brands are demanding transparent data for packaging decisions, such as carbon footprint, end-of-life.

Partnerships are essential: Suppliers, brands, and waste management firms must align to scale circular systems.

Innovation is no longer optional: Differentiating in sustainability is becoming central to competitiveness.

It was also an honour for Dr. Wang, Ecorigin’s Chief Expert, to share the stage with thought leaders from Asahi Group, Schneider Electric, Dow, and Nielsen IQ Asia Pacific in the panel discussion on recyclable materials, exchanging ideas that will shape the future of green packaging and circular design across Asia.

We are now following up with leads from the Summit, preparing pilot proposals, and planning content inspired by the discussions. We also look forward to participating again at future editions. If you missed the Summit, feel free to reach out to us to discuss how we can help your business transition to compostable packaging or pilot ESG-aligned solutions in Singapore and SEA.
