Over 40,000 Gifts of Care: Ecorigin’s Green Habit Initiative Creates Community Impact Across Singapore
Jul. 16, 2026

At Ecorigin, we believe that environmental responsibility and community care are deeply interconnected. Through our core corporate social responsibility pillar, the Green Habit Initiative, we have been moving actively across Singapore to deliver essential daily hygiene resources directly to vulnerable individuals, healthcare networks, and local heartland families.

By focusing on everyday habits and essential needs, the initiative seeks to foster a more sustainable yet deeply compassionate Singapore. Over the course of May, June, and early July 2026, our collaborative efforts have scaled rapidly, culminating in a sweeping island-wide distribution footprint alongside dedicated community partners.

Key Milestones At A Glance:

      Total Cartons Deployed: 920 Cartons

Sustainable Tissue Boxes Gifted: 44,160 Boxes

Core Distribution Pillars

To ensure our contributions create a tangible, meaningful impact on the ground, the Green Habit Initiative coordinates closely with trusted central networks, including Hao Ren Hao Shi, Lions Home for the Elders, Metta Welfare Association, and the Migrant Workers' Centre. Our distribution framework is executed across four key community pillars:

Community & Mobile Grocery Launches: We actively support holistic outreach models that bring care right to the doorsteps of local residents. This included sponsoring the pivotal Bukit Gombak Cares initiative on 7 June, as well as supporting the official launch of the Southwest CDC Enhanced Mobile Groceries on 5 July.

Targeted Grassroots Outreach: On 2 July, our initiative completed a major standalone deployment in the Zhenghua division. Working through the logistical network of Hao Ren Hao Shi, a dedicated total of 3,024 sustainable tissue boxes were distributed directly to 499 low-income households across three distinct rental blocks.

Welfare & Healthcare Hub Integration: We coordinated direct organizational donations to provide immediate, on-site support to key care hubs, including Lions Home for the Elders, Metta Welfare Association, and the Migrant Workers' Centre, alongside wider outreach to the Queenstown Multi-Service Centre, NKF @ Punggol 21 CC, Islandwide SPD networks, and Dover Park Hospice (DPH).

Heartland Logistics Networks: Utilizing systematic neighborhood grocery channels managed on the ground by Hao Ren Hao Shi, we successfully reached over 20 distinct local zones across Singapore, including Toa Payoh, Tampines, Bukit Batok, Sengkang East, Bukit Merah, Stirling Road, Marine Crescent, Fernvale, Senja Close, Keat Hong, and Serangoon/Eunos.

Community Spotlights: Bringing Impact to the Heartlands

Our summer outreach was anchored by two significant community launches that brought immediate, multi-layered support right into neighborhood spaces.

Bukit Gombak Cares Mobile Groceries Initiative and Storybook Launch

On 7 June 2026, we were honoured to stand alongside the Bukit Gombak community during the Bukit Gombak Cares Mobile Groceries initiative and the concurrent Bukit Gombak Storybook Launch event. Ecorigin participated as a sponsor for this event, with the Bukit Gombak Cares team handling the vital on-the-ground delivery of essential provisions to support local families while celebrating the rich heritage and vibrant community spirit of the neighborhood.

Launching the Enhanced Mobile Groceries @ South West

Following this, on 5 July 2026, the Enhanced Mobile Groceries @ South West was officially rolled out alongside Southwest CDC Mayor Low Yen Ling and Chua Chu Kang GRC MP Jeffrey Siow. This program is uniquely enhanced because it moves past standard dry food distributions to combine everyday essential necessities, such as Vitamin C, medications, and diapers, with free on-site health checks conducted by NUHS nurses.

We were deeply grateful to contribute to the cause, supplying our sustainable, FSC-certified tissue boxes to close to 150 attending families through the logistics and ground distribution network of Hao Ren Hao Shi.

Moving Forward Together

Every carton delivered and every tissue box handed over represents an individual supported and a family cared for. These extensive logistics are only made possible by the incredible dedication of our corporate partners, grassroots advisers, and the tireless ground volunteers from Hao Ren Hao Shi who handle the heavy lifting on the ground.

As we look through the rest of 2026, Ecorigin remains committed to expanding the Green Habit Initiative, forging new public and private partnerships to strengthen Singapore's community resilience while promoting sustainable, planet-friendly habits in our everyday lives.
